May Bank Holiday – Top 4 Things To Do In LondonApril 30, 2018

There’s nothing better than a bank holiday, right? I mean who doesn’t love a long weekend?! Whether you’re popping your favourite lash style on and getting ready to brunch or applying your sweat-proof Brow Pomade for a day full of activities, we’re here to give you the DL on the hottest stuff to do for the May bank holidays!

1.Boozy brunch

What better way to spend your day off than brunching in the city?

Start the day off right at Big Easy in Canary Wharf for a mighty meaty feast of chicken, pork or ribs and take advantage of the unlimited beer, wine or prosecco for under £30. Or head to 100 Wardour street between 11am and 5pm and choose from a selection of insta-worthy dishes, like pancakes and poached eggs while you sit back and relax with a live DJ. You can even upgrade to unlimited prosecco and Bloody Mary’s for just £15 extra – I mean, it is bank holiday after all!

2. Brill bars

For all you babes looking to skip the brunch and hit the bar instead, you could always rock your fave glam lashes and spend a night testing out the best cocktail bars London has to offer. So you’ve got more time getting ready to feel fabulous and less time researching the hottest London bars to go to, we’ve narrowed it down for ya… (don’t say we’re not good to you).

Head down to Big Chill House (Brick Lane or Kings Cross), Maddison’s (St Paul’s) or Radio Rooftop Bar (Holborn) for a perfect view of London from these hot rooftop bars. Or embrace your playful side at Ballie Ballerson with over one million balls in a giant ball pit and some would argue the best cocktails in town. If quirky bars are your thing, the First Aid Box in Herne Hill offers some magnificent medical inspired concoctions.

3. Chill out cinema

Enjoy an out-of-this world cinema experience at the Backyard Cinema Mars Experience where you can board an intergalactic spacecraft full of beanbags and grab a drink at a funky space themed bar while you sit back and relax to watch a different film each day. Classics include Space Jam, E.T and Men in Black or you can even check out some latest films like Black Panther.

4. Pergola Pop-up

Good news! Summer’s arrived early… Pergola Pop-up arrives in Paddington on 26th April and runs through to October providing some great bars and food places in some of the hippest hidden alfresco gardens and roof top bars. Book tables or day beds online to avoid disappointment.

Whatever you choose to do with your time off, we hope you feel fabulous doing it and most importantly: enjoy your long weekend!
