How to get that no make-up make-up look

Put the lipstick and eye shadow palette down. The no make-up, make-up look is a more curated version of you that looks effortless and naturally fresh-faced. Sounds easy right? Well that’s not alwayyyys the case, but with these easy to follow tips and tricks we’ll help you nail that no make-up make-up look in no time (alright maybe 10 minutes).

1. Prep the skin

Glowy, moisturised skin lays down the foundation of the no make-up aesthetic so start off my giving it some TLC through gentle exfoliation, moisturiser and that all important SPF. Use concealer to even the skin tone and cover any red spots or blemishes, or let them shine through as we’re going natural. Then apply a couple of blobs of illuminator to the cheeks, end of your nose, eyelids and just on top of the centre of your lips.

2.Elongate those lashes

An easy peasy way to open up the eyes with minimal effort? Focus on the lashes. Eylure have made this part super simple with their Pre-Glued range. As we’re going for the ‘you but elevated’ approach, we recommend choosing either Pre-Glued Fluttery Light or Naturals for a subtle lift to your natural lashes. Trim and bend the lashes to fit your eye line and pop into place in under 15 seconds.

3. Blush for that flush

Opt for a creamy blush in a rosy pink or peach tone, that easily melts into the skin for a naturally flushed finish to  brighten up your complexion.

4.Brows that pop

Brows are powerful things that add definition to your face with, you guessed it, minimal effort. For an understated yet impactful arch, simply tint your natural brows using Eylure’s Dybrow kit in black or brown and brush them up using a spoolie and brow gel. This will frame and open up the eyes to help nail that effortless aesthetic while being on trend too.

5. Accentuate the lips

Work with what you’ve got and find a tinted balm that’s slightly richer/ darker in colour to your natural shade. The balm will add moisture, sheen and definition making the lips look overall plumper.
